Effects of Dietary Self-efficacy, Dietary Attitude, Life Stress on Depression of Nursing Women Students

Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the level of depression in nursing women students and also, to investigate factors that influence depression.

Methods: In this study, 212 nursing women students who were enroiied college school in B city, Korea and who gave written consent completed the questionnaire between June 9 and June 15, 2015. Data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression.

Results: The level of depression in nursing women students was 38.47¡¾9.83. Models including the variable explained 12.7% of the variance for depression. Dietary attitude, stress were the influential factor.

Conclusion: Based on the outcomes of this study, it is necessary to design an intervention program that decrease depression of nursing women students.
